Lego Millennium Falcon 3D Recreation All 5,344 Pieces

Star Wars LEGO + 3D Artist = An ingenious combination.

Visual artist Francisco Prieto, has spent a painstaking three years shooting his 3D stop motion project of the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon.

The life sized LEGO Millennium Falcon Set #10179 is the the biggest, most spectacular LEGO Star Wars model ever made! The ship is over 33" long, 22" wide and 8" tall! (84cm long x 56cm wide x 21cm tall). Its an exact replica of Han Solo's famous smuggling starship.

Using the visual animation software 3ds max and V-ray, Francisco first set about converting each of the 5,344 piece Lego kit into 3D computer models. He then filmed the recreation process which took a year to complete and a further 650 hours to fully render. In total from start to finish Francisco spent three years of his spare time on the project and the result is an amazing three minutes and thirty seconds of pure visual art.

Brought to life the 3D rendered stop animation,
Lego Star Wars Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon Set #10179.
